IET Capital is a FHA/HUD¹ approved Title II Non-Supervised Loan Correspondent. This means we are approved by the United States Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD)¹ to originate Federal Housing Administration (FHA) loans. This is important to our clients for 2 reasons:- We maintain control of your file at all times. Unlike other companies who re-broker your loan (and your private personal information) to another company, at IET Capital we will get your FHA financing without relinquishing control of the transaction at any time.
- We have met (and must continually adhere) to higher levels of auditing, financial net worth, and quality control requirements to achieve this level of licensing than a typical Mortgage Broker. Our operations have met standards of professionalism that exceed the minimum levels required by the California Department of Real Estate to become a licensed CA Mortgage Broker. While we are obviously not the only HUD approved broker, getting approved to originate loans at the Federal Level requires passing government level background investigations and complying with stricter regulations and guidelines than what is required at the state level. That is why out of the many mortgage companies that may be in your local area only a select few are HUD approved.
3) We can modify the terms of your Mortgage.
We have received a letter of Non-Objection from the DRE¹ to collect advance payment from our clients in order to negotiate loan modifications. We have battle-tested staff with experience successfully dealing with loss mitigation departments of large lending corporations and servicing departments. We know how to package deals and most importantly we know which deals are doable and which deals aren't.4) Down Payment Assistance (DPA) Expertise.
